Midway Awarded, A Best Place to Work! from New Mexico Business Weekly
A total of 72 companies participated in the New Mexico Business Weekly's first issue of Best Places to Work.
The winners were selected based on employee measurement of 38 attributes known to drive employee engagement.
Questions were in 10 categories: Team effectiveness, retention risk, alignment with goals, trust with co-workers, individual contribution, manager effectiveness, trust in senior leaders, feeling valued, work engagement and people practices. Each employee anonymously completed a questionare relating to the above catagories. A certain percentage had to participate to be eligible.
Midway Office Supply Centers ranked #8 in the small company category. In addition to the 10 firms in each category, New Mexico Business Weekly also created a Top 25 list based on overall score, regardless of size category. Midway was very proud to be ranked #11 in the Top 25 Businesses!
